Asakusa

focus is Sensoji Temple but the area features much more in
terms of the old city than any other area in Tokyo.

John Lennon opened at Saitama Arena on October 9, 2000, the 60th
anniversary of his birth. John Lennon was one of the most famous
artists of the 20th century, having been a member of the Beatles
and influenced large numbers of people around the world.
Tsukiji
A dawn visit to the vast Tokyo Central Wholesale Market, on the
edge of Tokyo Bay, some 2km southeast of the Imperial Palace, is
one of the highlights of any trip to Tokyo and is a must for raw-fish
fans, who can breakfast afterwards on the freshest slices of sashimi
and sushi.

Imperial Palace
and Environs
Edo Castle, from which the Tokugawa shogunate
ruled Japan once occupied this location. The imperial family moved
from Kyoto to take up residence in Tokyo in the 19th century. The
palace built in 1888 was destroyed by Allied bombing...
