Nikko- Accomodations

Minshuku accommodation starts from about 4500 yen per person (or 6000 yen including an evening meal). The foreigner-friendly Narusawa Lodge is a ten minute walk from the station and is excellent value. (Tel 0288-54-1630).

Ryokan tend to be a little more expensive at around 10,000 yen per person and the Nikko Prince Hotel at Ryuzu-no-Taki offers luxury accommodation from 26,000 yen.

Nearby hot spring Yumoto Onsen offers further interesting stopovers, such as the Onsen Temple, a mix of onsen, lodge and temple.
